That with how much this offense is struggling, Beckett Wales is no where to be found in the GAMEPLAN? I mean seriously, for a struggling QB, a decent pass-catching TE is a terrific thing to have. Beckett Wales should be running 10 yard button hooks/short routes all game long. He should be getting 10 targets a game. He's not on the injury report so I presume he's healthy. There's really no excuse for this. Big miss so far by MacDonald.

Totally agree but I think his lack of blocking in this scheme - or whatever we're
doing right now - has limited his pt. both parris and Moore are better blockers.

I think Wales has been been pretty dinged up and playing through it. I've seen others mention it as well.

What we should do is run our 3 wr tight bunch formation with Parris, Moore, and Broyld. Could run some hellacious screen passes as well as running plays.

Would be nice to see McFarlane used on some jet sweeps/screens today. We have to try and keep Pitt from loading the box.

He's been pretty subpar at blocking from what I've seen. I agree on getting him involved though, simple qb roll outs and ten yard passes to the TE are simple but effective plays we should be running.

It makes me wonder why we're recruiting pass catching TE's like Batten if this is the case. Based on recruiting trends I figured we were getting away from the heavier run blocking style TE. Maybe Batten ends up playing on the outside.

McDonald's offense has me totally confused. I can't figure out what offensive identity he aspires to become.
