Well considering we are only expected to sign 2 kids today and the bulk of the signing was done on the early signing period it makes sense. Cuse announcing the transfers today should let you know how slow it is going be for the high school kids haha

That being said, between the high school kids and transfers the staff is bringing in this cycle. Hell of job infusing some really good new talent with some really good talent we already have returning. Dare I say I am cautiously optimistic about next year even with the schedule…

Yes this signing day now is just an afterthought, the cycle has been sped up so dramatically from where it was 10 years ago.

Well the transfer portal is taking a hell of a lot of significance away from it as well. You can see a lot of Teams have like under 20 commits for that reason

I’d like to see a study that shows how many fewer scholarships were given to HS seniors this year. Has to be a big number. Between Covid providing guys with another year, and the transfer portal. HS recruiting has been de-emphasized. More kids are going to have to work their way up through the portal.

This really wasn't true. If you went to cuse.com there was a huge picture of Dino with signings overlaid and an entire right-hand menu for everything FB-related. You were given an optoin to continue on to 'normal' cuse.com. Obv it went away at some point.
