It’s time, if I were Head Coach edition

Main lineup would be George-Kingz-Betsy-Freeman-Kyle

I would play every offensive possession that Freeman is in the game through him in the post or mid-post. I tell George and JJ that if you can't get the ball to Freeman in the post or mid-post and he has to come out to the three-point line to get the ball, then you will be benched, and the other will go in.
you realize jj brings more to the table than Betsy? i like Betsy because he's a 3 pt threat, but that's it. in fact jj has a better fg%. jj is also a better defender. for comparison, betsy is bell redux. check it out. almost a carbon copy.

Bell could block shots when he got angry.

Unfortunately, this exercise is pointless. Changing the allocation of minutes won't matter because the scheme is broken offensively and the defensive effort has completely disappeared.

Plus, "playing the kids" just gives them more tape for when they inevitably portal out in 2 months.

As Bill Murray once famously said: it just doesn't matter.

He doesn’t. It’s why he struggled badly passing across court. Teams need to just double him when he gets the ball outside the post and force a pass. I’ve honestly never seen a player with more telegraphed cross court passes. Very weird.
The sequence the other night when Donnie had the ball outside (I guess for an iso ) and 4 guys stood around the perimeter not moving an inch, resulting in a dumb, stolen cross-court pass......us in a nutshell.

Donnie doesn't have the handle for action starting outside the lane and every biddy basketball player knows to move when their mate gets stuck.

Pretty sure I remember the exact play. It's the one time where the crosscourt pass getting picked was less his fault, and more just the result of our lack of movement.

After his first or second dribble you could tell he was dead in the water - but nobody moved. Then he just got stuck without the dribble out on the three point line and everyone just watched him.
