It's just a shot away

Figures don't lie. More bench minutes is not a solution. This is the first year in J B's long tenure that we have no draft choices on the roster. We have the supporting cast but we have been losing too many recruiting battles. We suffer from not having a star player. I have my fingers crossed that Buddy will become Buddy Buckets again.

Those stats are damning. At the same time, JB purposefully didn't construct a bench to contribute meaningfully for the past 4 seasons. It sure wouldn't hurt if there was a viable 9th or 10th player to challenge the 6/7/8 for productive minutes, but we decided this summer that we didn't need that as well.
