I'm sitting here at the dome. Duke really isn't very good. The place is nearly empty. People are bitter. Clearly a game (like many others recently) where everyone watching thinks we could have won. The atmosphere is so negative and somber. How isn't this all on the athletic director's head? How can this be allowed to persist? We have the kids in the program. Top down wholesale change is necessary or we are going to slide right back down into the abyss.

i wonder the same thing. i just dont think, and understandably so, that football is the priority of this university.

You would think that if they're not selling tickets to home games, it might start to force decisions.
It's still relatively early in Shafer's tenure, probably too early for wholesale changes but they think that sh$t doesn't need to change and this whole year has been about injuries, this situation isn't going to get any better for years.
