At the same time, you just got the 1 seed, got a superstar scorer, first pick this year and next year you have a top pick. Players get hurt, things happen. Should be vying for some top free agents.

Tough call. It's one thing to *almost* be a legit title contender, it's another to be an actual one.

I don't know the answer, but my evaluation would be determined by if I could have landed in a top three seed in the west if the team was in the western conference.

Does signing Hayward make the difference? Anyone else?

Not sure where I'm going with these thoughts.

I will say this, I would have faith in Boston with any avenue they choose. With Ainge and Stevens, I wouldn't be worried.
