Va Tech crushes Duke, then get's pummeled by NC State

Tech stuns UNC at home, then looks like a DIII team @ Duke

We lose at BC, rebound against Miami

BC lays an egg @ Wake. Etc... etc... etc...

There's no reason that competent (just competent!) play can't yield 6 or more home wins. Just need to find, or steal perhaps, 4 road wins to be in the conversation in March.

Only 5 road wins in conference play thus far this season.

If we can be competent at home and go 7-2, which is essentially holding serve in ACC play, we just need to steal the GA Tech and two others. The BC loss really, really killed us.
