Its still a surprise that SU and Pitt have ACTUALLY applied to the ACC

Talking here about it and actualy reading that its been put into the hands of reality are two different things. I think the ACC must accept the request if they have any kind of intelligence going on there. Syracuse is a powerful basketball and lacrosse school nd a rising football program. Pitt is football nd basketball established. Lacrosse ,not to much but give them a chance in a new conference and I give them five years before they are competitive. Travel distances are doable even for the Orange fans and alims. The basketball only teams of the big east will hurt but not die. Heck I might even get to see another West Coast gamme out here with the Orangemen in a new more respected conference. Dr. Cantor should be congratulated for seeing the future clearer then might have been expected. I respect the lady on all levels of her responsibilities.
