J’Onre Reed to NFL Draft

Given the ruling on Pavia’s case regarding JUCO years not counting for eligibility, it seems like J’Onre Reed will have an extra year now, right??
The terms of the injunction only apply to Pavia right now. The NCAA could, in theory, change its rules to allow extra eligibility for JUCO alums before next season. Otherwise, Reed would have to file his own lawsuit or join a class action suit that could conceivably form in the wake of this injunction.

Still, interesting idea! (Petry and Bradford would also stand to benefit.)

Petry wasn’t juco was he?

He is a good choice but Alton Robinson should also be considered. He played at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M in 2016.

Mark Petry played at Ellsworth Community college in Iowa as a frosh.

Haha, you beat me to it Tom. Should have scrolled more before responding.

Downing was a third round pick which is why I leaned that way. Robinson went in the 3rd round also but Downing played a premium position.
