When he said he was using the extra year but didn’t say at the same time that he was coming back to SU, I immediately wondered if he was going to portal

And honestly everything is about negotiation. He can jump in the portal, work to use it as some leverage and see if he can get Syracuse to up the package and come back. A few ways this can play out.

It’s not a huge loss…it stinks but he was hurt a lot. What makes me mad is ACC is a bottom feeder for the Big10 and SEC, and Syracuse is already a middle of the row at best NIL wise in the ACC. Which might be the worst p4 conference.
