J-E-T-S

On a last second play against a linebacker that had played 0 defensive snaps... I'd love to rematch the Giants in the playoffs. Wish we could have played them in their yearly swoon.

And in the super bowl. You forgot about that. So technically you haven't beat us in 4 years.

All kidding aside both teams have issues. The pats d is worse than the giants and both would be eliminated in the playoffs very early.

In all fairness to the Giants, if they played in the afc east, they would already be in the playoffs. 4-0 against those teams.
Please you have your chances the Skins twice in one year is a Christmas gift in it's self.

Seriously? Whining about one play because boo hoo an inexperienced guy got beat?

Please. Enjoy your season and man up on the Giants beating you on your own grass over 60 minutes.
I'm enjoying the season greatly, actually. Can't wait for the playoffs. The Pats' D isn't as bad as people think.

the pats catch a break in that they don't have to face Rodgers, Brees or Eli on their side of the draw.

It inherently $ucks enough being a Jets fan wo having to put with classless posts.

You won, you should be gracious.

Mexi, Jets fans have been insufferable. They think Sanchez is joe Montana and Ryan is Vince Lombardi.

Sounds like a bandwagon fans perspective, Giants fans have just as many if not more(bigger fanbase) dumbass fans like the jets one you describe here along with every other team fanbase in the country.

No fans of any team have talked more and done less (with the possible exception of Phila fans) than Jets fans. Glad we shut up the JV coach yesterday.

I don't get the hate for the Jets, they've also been in the AFC championship game 2 years in a row so Ryan isn't going anywhere.

That being said, go Giants! Great win but have to finish it off by beating the Cowgirls next week

The uniting characteristic of the entire Ryan clan is braggadocio. It works until someone fights back against the bully(ies). As an Iggles' fan, we used to delight in Buddy's antics until it finally dawned on us that he couldn't get the Birds out of the first round of the playoffs. (Still like the fact that he referred to then-owner Norman Braman as 'that man in France', but I digress.)

Problem is that there are/were big holes in both Buddy's and Rex's coaching skills. Buddy never had a clue as to how to coach offense, Rex doesn't appear any better. And both (well, all three if you count Rob) use extreme defensive pressure, which is great as long as you've got great rush guys AND great cover guys.

If not, welcome to the 99-yard TD.

Plus, nobody likes a big mouth. When you force them to shut their pie hole, they're toast. I suspect that more than a few Jets' players are beginning to get off the Rex Ryan Express.

I also suspect that the Rex Ryan Super Bowl window is just about closed. He'll get another year, maybe two, but I don't think the results will improve.

The media tries to make excuses for Sanchez and build him up to be something special. So does Rex, but it is his job to have his guy's back. Jets fans are sick and tired of him and Schotty and the anemic offense.

I'm tired of Jets fans feeling so disgusted with the reactions of Jacobs and Diehl, when the Jets are the most mouthy, obnoxious team in the NFL. Jacobs tells Rex to and Rex is the victim, yet Rex leaves himself open to criticism with every word he says.

Bnoro, you do remember that the Giants played that game without Bradshaw and Nicks. Two of their best weapons. They would play in any rematch. and the Giants didn't have any swoon when they played the pats the time before last.

At least BJ and Dave talked smack after they actually won a game, Rex and crew talk all the time with nothing to show for it. Just like TC said in retaliation to the pre game words from the Jets camp "talk is cheap, play the game".

This is the reaction you get when little brother thinks he can finally beat big brother only to get smacked down and then run crying to mommy for sympathy.

I was bored so I trolled this thread hard. A loss is a loss, the Giants beat us. But we're still going to the playoffs so whatever.

I actually am glad that the Pats will get home field. The NFL playoffs are SOOOOOO much better when they are in cold weather cities. Green Bay, Foxboro, etc. I hate watching these games in domes.

And I really cant wait until the Super Bowl is in the medowlands. I would love to see a snow storm that day and watch the game in those conditions. Real football baby.

Rex can talk all he wants but in NY, the Jets will always play second fiddle to Big Blue. Similar to Yankees-Mets.
Knicks/Nets and even the Rangers/Islanders. Islanders won all of those championships but the "real" fans were the Ranger fans.

I'm gonna stick to my original opinion that they are bandwagon fans talking up the jets rocking there gear that way if they win it they can be like yea i have always liked the jets.

From the offseason to the preseason to the regular season there has been not even one sign that the jets could win it all. I am a jets fan and know lots of jet fans and i cant think of one that had unreasonable expectations other than we should make the playoffs. Every win the jets have this year is against a team that was out of the playoff picture a month ago besides dallas. All our losses playoff contenders.

If I were the Jets owner I would have waived Sanchez at halftime. Then again I'd also have to be certifiable because I would have traded up to draft him, and later resigned him for a longer contract and actually paid him to play football.

Arguably the worst "franchise" QB in the history of the NFL. And I'm not even a Jets fan, I actually loathe the Jets with a fiery passion ... but even I felt bad for that franchise while watching what seemed to be a blind man running in circles throwing dead ducks around the field. Absolutely painfully bad quarterback.

It hurts to watch. I'm completely over the Sanchez experiment. I've never been an apologist, just simply an optimist because they're my favorite team. Yes, the rest of our roster has holes (safeties, DT's are young, RB depth, overall speed), but we would undoubtedly be a play-off team with a more competent QB.

Btw - jets still suck and couldn't win a game they needed too against a crap team. Meanwhile Big Blue made it happen when everyone was watching, goodnight little brother.
