Love that kid. Tough as nails, and extremely good in contested catch situations. Have no idea where we would be without him this year.

hes not likely to get drafted, but he will get into camp and work his ass off. All he needs is a shot and chance to make somebodies ST unit

Need a quadrillion like function, not because I'm glad he's leaving, obviously, but because we're all rooting for him and would like the Internet to recognize my appreciation beyond a single heart emoji

So fun to watch play...seems like a great person. Great luck to you.

Reminds me of Amba Etta-Tawo. From obscurity to star. Really enjoyed watching him as a player and another great culture guy. Good luck at the next level!
Yes, 10 receptions at GA in 3 years (though it seems he also played some D there), and 78/1000 at SU and looking pretty fabulous - wish him the best.

Another example of Fran knowing what he is doing.

Dude is clutch, physical, don’t know if we’ve had anybody make as many contested tough catches. He’s made some spectacular grabs and the one he had in the first half vs Miami was a men against boys.

With his history at UGA never expected his production.

I guess he isn’t NFL fast or quick, but he’s got every other trait, hands, routes, tough, body control, willing blocker, competes.

Our WRs were night and day compared to Dino’s. In previous seasons we’d have a guy break open or a good throw lead to drops at key moments. This was the least amount of drops I can ever remember, and Meeks was sure handed as they come. Mr. Clutch, pound for pound as tough and skilled a receiver as I’ve seen here. Wishing him a long and successful NFL career, I wouldn’t be surprised if he does well on Sunday

I just dont see how a kid withp that catch radius doesnt get drafted.

I don't know if Fran even expected this.

When Meeks came on I remember Fran making some comment about how Meeks will show guys how to practice.

Well... he did a lot more than that. A top 10 single season for receptions and one of the few 1,000 yard seasons in school history is pretty good.

I think he's going to have a tough time getting an opportunity as a top 4 WR on an NFL roster, but he has the tools to be a great STer and wait for his chance. If he gets that chance with the right QB, who is willing to put the ball where only he can make a play on it, he has a chance to turn into a contributor at WR because we've seen that he can go get it.

Hopefully McCord gets his extra year, crushes it, goes in the first round, kills it in the NFL and convinces his team to make Meeks their #5 WR when the job is open.
