Great move by Hill. Its fun to hear the "oohs" from the crowd. If you look at the video, I think its our TE that doesn't account for the DE at all. Why is he so focused on going to block a LB? Is someone else responsible for that DE that comes clear into the backfield?

The play was a designed to go the right side and I don't think anyone had that DE or maybe was supposed to just chip him. The play got blown up by that RT (Lasker maybe) getting steamrolled. At least that's how I see it.

TE is to hold and then release to second level. He needs to hold just a tad longer.

we ran a bunch of plays where we ignore the backside DE and they ended up in the plays face all day. the DE is supposed to be influenced by the QB roll out, other times when we rolled out they were supposed to follow the play so the QB could roll out but it seemed every time they went the opposite way and causes us issues.

I liked the power the little guy showed at the end of the play, (the clip stops short). If he's got the right angle and some leverage, he can keep going in heavy traffic.
