This happens to every team every off season.YOU get a surgery! And YOU get a surgery!
And...
As long as it’s not Tucker or Dr Nick Rivera doing the surgeries, then we should be a lot deeper team next season after all of this.

Does he qualify for a medical redshirt?

Most of the SOS guys are very good.Luckily it's Todd Battaglia...or at least he does most of the Football injuries
According to the footage of the surgery, he had a small toilet removed from his lower left abdominal area. What this a ‘lower body’ or ‘upper body’ injury?
I never heard the story of what happened.
And not a moment too soon.Pretty remarkable that 3 of the 4 top DEs atop the depth chart heading into the season barely played all year. Depth could be much improved next season on the DL.

Or they all just get hurt again. I don't trust this stupid sport anymore.
Yeah, there are a lot of "sure we'll be better next year, so-and-so will be back from injury."
Guarantee people will be sitting here in mid-August wringing their hands over one of 22 starters who got dinged up in practice and has to miss the season. Happens almost every year.
Was he hurt or was that an optional one?Used his redshirt in 2015.
Besides, according to the box score, he played some garbage minutes against BC.
Optional. Was he hurt or was that an optional one?
Doh!Optional.
