Pittsburgh puts out release that Barry "Slice" Rohrssen has departed the program. He's headed to Kentucky with John Calipari.


Barry "Slice" Rohrssen is leaving Pitt for Kentucky. I always wondered who that guy in the nice suits who always tried to keep Dixon from completely losing it. Now I know it was Rohrssen. He was the guy who got Pitt a lot of their NYC players its a hit to the Pitt program.

Slice is the perfect example of a guy who is better suited as an assistant than a head man. His run at Manhattan...not so good. But he is one of the better assistants in the nation.
