Spring semester is a month away. Is there any word yet on players who may join up in January?

50% of people think Smallwood is in
50% of people think Smallwood is out

Did someone say 12/21 was the day they can commit,

I think that is for junior college players.
Correct. FYI, a very good source says we are bringing in JUCOs for the spring.

That might explain why our inn is full. Tell you the truth though, in year 4 we should be past relying on jc's, imo.

Ding, ding, ding. Guess we won't have long to wait.

The JUCO route has not been particularly productive for us the last few years but if nothing else, if it provides depth and more starting job competition I'm all for it.

Tiller started made all BE, Hay started every game, Goggins started every game, Ball and Fisher were quality backups. Lou Alexander red-shirted and should provide depth next season. I would say that is pretty successful.

Wasn't there a thread titled "what's Marrone going to do now that grob's guys are gone" or something like that?

Well I guess now we know.

If they bring in a couple of guys to add depth in some spots, what's wrong with that?

The roster is bottom heavy as it is, nothing wrong with evening it out.

Hope the heck there is a Stud JUCO RB in there somewhere...
RB would be great, also a speed burner WR, maybe a pass-rush DE, and any help we can get for the OL.

Not for me but for KCSU...I know its on his wish list

I will be shocked if Broyld isn't here. Smallwood too.

I'd do it if it meant a cotton bowl invite. (or big east equivalent)

How about that DE from Nassau CC, Bryan Johnson?

A DE from JUCO was mentioned at one of the luncheons but no names or schools were mentioned due to NCAA regulations. Word at that time was only one JUCO player was coming but with the departure of Graham, Smith, and possibly Thomas my bet is that has changed.

Is Jerome Smith leaving?
