To me, he hasn’t played 1 meaningful snap this year. In each of the 5 games, he has played garbage time. I guess you can say the meaningful snap he played was his goal line carry against Liberty, but i’m Sure Abdul could of gotten that in.

With Moe graduating, having Howard eligible for 3 more years would have been nice. Could be a lead back by the time he has a senior, instead he will split time with Abdul. Would have been nice to see him redshirt in my opinion. I guess thats to late now.

Agreed

Agreed. He was the 3rd back last year too, but he was important. He would get series’s in the “real” part of the game.

i like him on dump offs, he touches the ball and it’s immediate downfield momentum. I think Adams is the better talent but I would love to see Jarveon go in every single damn time we think the opposing defense is getting tired or on their heels

Agreed. I was going to comment that it was nice to see him with some receptions out of the backfield. I don't recall seeing much of that previously, and it's a great threat for the wrecking ball that he is.

if he is ever more than than the 3-4 option at RB then we have not done a great job at recruiting.. he is a nice solid RB.

Howard is somewhat a casualty of line play. As a downhill runner he needs to have a chance to build some momentum. When the dline is in the backfield a half second after the snap it makes it tough for a guy like Howard. I still think he is a weapon and hope he gets a decent shot this year.
