Whatever the reason it is really a shame he isn't coaching. Easily the most likable to the big east rival coaches. Probably the best one too. Too young to be stopping like this.

Maybe it's just a cyclical thing, but I feel like college basketball currently has a shortage of "larger than life coaching personalities" which is always a huge part of what makes the sport great.

He has been at every home playoff phillies games just sitting with the fans watching baseball enjoying life...it's awesome to see and I can't blame him for wanting to enjoy life.

Good looking guy...a wealth of knowledge and experience...articulate...seems to have some personality.
If he takes the job as seriously as he did coaching he can be a star.

Unfortunately, he can't count on any useful coaching from CBS.
