Was curious as to who we would be playing assuming we keep winning (or even stub our toe once) when JB passes Adolph Rupp and then Dean Smith. Currently he is at 871. Here are the next 10 games and assuming we dont stub our toe here is when he woud tie/pass these 2 and who we would be playing:

4 at Providence 9:00 p.m.

7 #20/20 MARQUETTE 4:00 p.m.

11 at Villanova 7:00 p.m.

14 PROVIDENCE 6:00 p.m.

16 PITTSBURGH 7:30 p.m. (could tie Rupp with a win over Pitt)

21 at Notre Dame 6:00 p.m. (would pass Rupp here)

23 at Cincinnati 7:00 p.m.

28 WEST VIRGINIA 1:00 p.m. (would tie Dean Smith here)

February

4 at St. John’s 12:00 p.m. (would pass Dean Smith here)

8 GEORGETOWN 7:00 p.m.

Fixed. :D

I just hope he gets title #2 eventually to truly cement his legacy

Call me greedy, but I think titles 4,5, and 6 would really cement his legacy. Are you reading this, Jimmy?

I have to disagree and say "Not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4, not 5, not 6, not 7..."

Frankly, to me it seems like it would be the most fitting (and therefore what I expect will happen) for JB to pass Dean Smith against Georgetown.

So yes, I think we're going to get a loss in there somewhere.

Top 5 things I'm looking forward to in 2012:

1. Boeheim hoisting up #2 and saying I'm not leaving until I get another one.

2. Dion and Fab say "We're coming back because Boeheim deserves to retire in peace."

3. Boeheim passes Adolph Hitler, Dean Smith and ratface is forced into early retirement so Boeheim can become the new all time leader in wins.

4. NN, Tyler Ennis and Rondae Jeffrson verbally commit to the Orange.

5. Thompson dos' house goes into foreclosure, Boeheim purchases it, rents a bulldozer and smashes the sheit out of it while proclaiming "The Thompson home is officially closed". YOU THOMPSON FAMILY.

Honorable mention: Obama loses out on a re-election... its honorable mention because the wonderful USofA is priority #2 behind 'Cuse basketball.

It figures that Pitt would be the game where he can tie Rupp. It would make the moment much sweeter if we can exact our revenge on the Panthers that day. :)
