JB said the players were tired at halftime

Where exactly was he better or even good for that matter? Both were terrible in todays game, so the coach went with the guy with more experience. You may choose to ignore that but there it is.

Oh man, that was some comeback :)

Peace

Where exactly did you see he was better? He did not play particularly well today, neither did Joe. Hopefully both will be able to do better going forward. I did notice that JAB spent a considerable amount of time lecturing Kadary today for wharever that is worth.
Well he had 5 points in 9 minutes and 0 turnovers. He should have had an assist on a fast break but one of our guys bobbled the pass.

Same old, same old. JB has already decided on his 5, and they’ll play 38-40 minutes a game, regardless of their actual quality of play. Why bother recruiting a kid like Richmond if he can’t get 1 minute in a half where Girard was atrocious in all facets?

He was a net negative while playing greater than 30 minutes.
I think a ’star’ player needs to be able to do more than shot open jump shots.
8 for 17 from the field; 4 assists, 3 rebounds, 23 points. I was a net 0 today. When will they be hanging my jersey. Without Buddy, we’re 0-1 right now.

Okay...He scored 23 and allowed more than that...There are two halves in a court. He is a good shooter but a mediocre basketball player.
Yes there are two halves. I agree he was poor defensively but You said he was terrible all day...you may want to pump the brakes on the hyperbole. His offensive numbers were very solid.

Sidibe getting hurt threw a monkey wrench into all of this. He was on track to effectively foul out Bryants front line and have a big meal on the offensive boards. It was clear we had no real game plan except to roll the ball out, get our shots up and taking advantage of isolation chances while Sidibe and Marek clean up and over power Bryant. When Sidibe went down everything went to hell.

Wow you have down to a science , you know exactly how many Pts were his fault on the defensive end. Seemed to me they hit several 3s from the corners.

Fair assessment. Buddy is a one dimensional player who along with his other starting guard are about the worst defenders I’ve ever seen.
