JB was in mid-season form in his post-game presser. He gave very short answers and snarky responses. He just has no tolerance for the local media. None of this is breaking news but I thought it was a little odd, considering he felt we played well. His body language was very "can I please get the out of here, please."

My favorite response was to a question about whether he was worried about how Kaleb would react to not being a starter. JB said something to the effect of, "why would I concern myself with that? I'm more concerned with what I'm going to have for dinner tonight." LOL. Classic.

I'd be angry as well if I hadn't heard from the NCAA yet and the season starts in five days.
Damn straight! Angry would be a euphemism for something much more nefarious.

It looks like Chris Carlson is supplementing Donna and Mike's coverage. I'd be in a bad mood if I had to think about dealing with him also.

I just watched the full 7 minutes and I can't figure out what you're talking about. He was nearly sedate, answered every question (even the stupid ones) and didn't get nasty with anyone. This wouldn't even make the cut for the top 100 JB presser tirades. He made a joke about how he feels about Kaleb's adjustment to coming off the bench. So what?

Some coaches will take a mundane or even stupid question and turn it into a conversation. When JB wants to be pleasant he can do it. When he's not in the mood he just refuses to be nice. That was his tone yesterday.

Losing his hearing. Questions had to be repeated multiple times, unless he was just with everybody.

JB was tolerating the presser in general. It's something he's never been crazy about doing let alone after an exhibition game.

I never thought the under on a JB presser thread would be 2 games. an exhibition at that.

I learned on the football board this year that JB has earned the right to say anything he wants and to be as cranky as he wants at a presser. Scott Shafer has not.

He was terse but not rude. I agree he wanted to get it over with as quickly as possible, moreso than usual. Why? Who knows? Who cares?

He wanted to watch football.

Maybe he is cranky because he saw the Syracuse football game on Saturday and realizes that Syracuse basketball is going to have to play well to take the attention off of the football team...again...

Probably comes in handy when juli chews him out. If he's insecure about wearing hearing aids he could always grow a mullet and cover em up.
