JBA Redshirt Season Diet

Weight gainers have a place as additional "easy to consume" calories but you are not wrong. It's easier to drink calories than eat them in my experience, which is why some choose to go that route. Drinking calories is also a big reason why so much of this country is obese (looking at you, soda).
Juice gets a free pass too - it's about as bad as soda
 
Looks like he's got the food part down, how about the strength? Adding weight is one thing, but I hope he's getting worked in the weightroom, especially his core and lower half.

Calorically, absolutely. At least you get some nutrients from juice, if you pick the right kinds. That's how justify it. Then again, mon-fri my primary beverage is still water and I'm at a healthy weight.
