No surprise to me, and given his good behavior after the post game PC, they can't throw away a valuable resource like JB. The title doesn't have a ring to it, but I guess it works for everyone.

And given his comments that a 200 lb weight is off his shoulders, I see him as only an asset.

Excellent job by the school. Jimmy will be a huge part of the Cuse and program for years to come. He will continue to be a great ambassador for the program and this has all worked out after some bumps in the road.

He's already gone to watch Buddy play and is going to watch Jimmy play in Europe.

My guess is with the HC weight off his shoulders and doing some leisure traveling to visit the kids... it's going to be a lot more enjoyable for him than he prolly thought...

I.e. he gonna really like retirement.

This position is gonna be part time and less time as time goes on for him - by choice.

Of course. But it seems a little strange that in JB's official SU Athletics Bio listing his new position they'd call his twin son Jack instead of Buddy. Maybe to be formal "Jackson". But I've never seen him referred to as "Jack".

For those that don’t speak “special” titles. This basically means Wildhack can pay JB to be on standby anytime he needs him to meet with big time donors. Lots of lunches, dinners, speaking engagements and golf events in JB’s future. Seems like the perfect role for him in his sunset years.

Soo not sure how many of you work in a corporation/big size company but this position is just a “name” and has no real meaning or requirements. My last CEO was essentially fired and given this title as “Special assistant to the board”. I was super close with him and it was just a “title” to pay him for the next two years. I’m assuming this is in the same realm
