JB's Presser after Georgetown

Thankfully Georgetown couldn't punch well - Michael Graham missing Andre and Patrick missing Pearl with their punches.

Actually, it would have changed the game had Graham connected with that punch. There would have been no way for the refs to succumb to their cowardice and withdraw the initial ejection call. Andre may have had a bruise or cut, but he was a warrior and would have finished that game.

Pearl, on the other hand, is very lucky Ewing missed. That could have been a knock out.

it was a shove that put him down. The slap, (it was open handed) whiffed. It still should have been a flagrant foul, which Froggy initially called it until Thompson glowered at him. Naturally we lost in OT. This was in regulation and made all the difference. JB took it out on a press room chair but couldn't throw it as far as Bobby Knight did. There was also a traveling call on Papadakos when he scored that was BS.

The good old days...
Was that game the last one that Froggy did in the Dome?

Great job by JB, giving Ewing so much respect for his toughness and what he did for the Big East. I loathe Georgetown but anyone who thinks Patrick wasn't a tough player is dead wrong. And delusional.

He's doubly easy to hate as a Hoya first, then as the Knicks center piece player who couldn't put them over the top. But I do respect his career, worthy of the hall of fame and accolades he does receive.
