Jerami Grant selected for all star game

The more game footage I see of Grant, the more he reminds me of a young Hakim Warrick :)

After seeing all the highlights I thought Grant might be ready for prime time and be a contributor next year. However, in the game that was shown on espn against Bishop Gorman and Shabazz Muhammed, he looked a little shaky, despite a few highlight plays.

Is there any way to catch any other full DeMatha games online? Going only off of that game he looks like #35 to 50 prospect who may take a year or two to be a big contributor. May have just been a bad game for DeMatha as Anya looked less than stellar as well.

Shabazz Muhammed was so dominant in that game, it was like a man against boys.

Grant is physically a prototypical Syracuse player, tall, extremely long, athletic, great handle for a forward. But he is joining a loaded team. I would not expect much from him as a freshman. I do expect him to have a very good career here though.

He's going to have a year or two before he gets the opportunity to be a big contributor. There will be about six guys ahead of him in the line for minutes next year.... Melo(?), Rak, Baye, DC, Dirty & CJ. I would expect him to see MCW minutes, he'll have time to grow into a spot.

Agree we see little to no Small lineup at the four If Melo comes back or we grab Noels.
Without melo or Noels we might see some more of a small lineup.
