Jeremiah Wilson portal from Houston to FSU

Wilson and Adams both traveled.

I think Wilson was moved to safety and is learning the position. The Field Safety position often plays like a slot corner where J. Simmons often lines up. Wilson is on the small side but plays with energy and toughness. I would expect him to head for the portal as soon as possible.

Others have I haven't seen in weeks and may have already left the program, B. Oliver, . Nolton, and J. Seabourne.

Nolton was a recruiting coup if I remember right

it would seem that whether Dino is let go or not, the Ohana is going to go through a sizable beak up this offseason.

Wilson got ABUSED in the Clemson game and needed 2-3 other guys everytime he needed to make a tackle

It’s really no surprise he got benched

The week before the Clemson game, Dino mentioned LQA and Wilson specifically as the two hardest working players in practice.

It seems like there's something else between having a bad game against Clemson and being the 8th string DB against VT.

Interesting.

Seabourn hasn't played since Army.

Nolton and Oliver haven't played at all this year. Neither has Bassette.

Is he hurt? I saw that he was dressed. I thought he was one of our better players the first 4 games until he got beat at Clemson with that double move and it’s been Bellamy since. To me, Bellamy is a significant downgrade.

I agree, Wilson was very good in some of those early games. Wonder if he is in the doghouse for some reason. Although that would be a long time to be in the doghouse...

I remember him making a hit late in the Purdue game where it looked like he hurt his shoulder but he has been dressed since. I also thought i read something about him being more of a nickel.

If we are comparing him to Bellamy i honestly don’t know what they could be looking at. He seems to get beat like a drum on the regular and is a far worse tackler. Between him and Gould who dropped 4 or 5 would be INT’s and picked up a stupid personal foul for mushing someone it’s no wonder they weren’t playing at Nebraska. The way this defense has played this season has probably been the biggest disappointment but then again when you’re replacing 2 all-acc players with kids who haven’t played a game of cfb it shouldn’t be a surprise. I have been impressed with Braylon Ingrham. I admit i had my doubts he would ever contribute but i thought he’s been excellent and does a better job against the run than Darton. He’s really the only defensive lineman who has legitimate size for the 3-3-5. I wouldn’t mind seeing more of him.

Wilson is being converted from CB to Safety.

He did play yesterday, but did not record a tackle.

Bellamy did not dress due to injury, he was replaced by Greg Delaine.

ahhh i thought 32 was Bellamy who was getting beat all day, apologies to him. Not a good performance from Delaine. I don’t get the move to safety from Wilson. All we ever heard from practice, which is slim, was that he was making plays. He seemed to be one of our better defensive performers early this year so i have no idea what happened?

Quan Peterson played a lot too.

DeLaine struggled. He got hurt last game and is still affected by whatever the injury is. Think it is something that affects his agility.

He tried to play but was clearly not 100%. I think he is going to be our best CB next season. Like him a lot. Not sure why Bellamy played in front of him. Peterson really struggled.

Wish we kept Wilson at CB.

This staff makes a lot of strange decisions.
