How do you folks like this draw? By my count seven Big East teams with none in our bracket(SU, Georgetown, UConn, Seton Hall, Marquette, Louisville & West Virginia) and four OOC Opponents (NC St in our bracket, Bucknell, Marshall & Florida) which means, by my calculations (with a lot of interruptions when I was calculating) we play 13 games against the field out of our 31 games or 42% of the schedule against tournament teams. How does that compare to other members of the top 10?

I did a quick peek... i apologize if i missed anyone

Tourney teams we have beaten:
Seton Hall (home) 4 seed
Marquette (home) 7 seed
Florida (home) 9 seed
Marshall (home) 11 seed
NC State (road) 12 seed

But I thought we haven't beaten anyone good? :noidea:

Wow;

Playin-Temple-Murray St-Mizzou (in Boston)-Kentucky

That'd mean 0 BCS teams until the Elite 8.

I'd love that road.

I would say based on this our schedule has been soft... before the season started, most would have thought we would have beaten a 2 seed (fla), a 6 seed (nc state) a 6 seed (marquette) double digit seeds/bubble teams (va tech, stan, and hall)

That draw scares the crap out of me. Murray St? Could be a trap game against a team that is very good. One of those mid majors people get bit by. Missouri? Sure they have a loss but that is a very good and very athletic team led by a bunch of guards. Kentucky in the F4? Do I need to say more? I can think of a lot of draws better than that one. There is no easy road but I do not want to play Murray St and Missouri.

Missouri is very thin, they are down to 7 scholarship players. I haven't analyzed minutes per player per game for them but I remember when we played GMAC & Jonny for 30 minutes plus and how each wore down as the season got longer. In 2003 GMAC had solid back up but after that he shouldered most of the load as JB hitched his wagon to him. In his last season the tank was empty when we got to the NCAA's after that remarkable run in the BET. We lost in the first round to Texas A&M. I remember going to our final practice at Manley and watching GMAC shooting by himself as the team scrimmaged. He was suffering a deep grion injury and was hobbling around. Right then & there I knew he was done.

I watched the Ohio State-Illinois game last night. At the 35 minute mark neither team had a single point off the bench. It was remarked that Thad Motta only plays 6 or 7 players a game. There is not another team in the nation as deep as SU. That's one of our biggest advantages against the rest of the field.

The B10 with 9 teams?

You missed Ohio State hidden in there as a 3 seed. I'd fear them more than Mizzou. I don't want any part of Temple.

It's like no matter what, Duke gets a #1 Seed. Palm goes on a big diatribe how his bracket is based on as of " TODAY" and that it does not project conference champions. NC and Virgina both have at least an equal or better record than Duke and yet, There is Duke listed as a #1 Seed. Palms bracket is purely for entertainment purposes.

Yup...I'd take that bracket in a heartbeat ... and in the East? All home games
