All of this assumes that there will be bowls outside the playoff. I haven't seen a statement by any sponsor that they're willing to have their bowl, especially since attendance will be limited and the whole idea behind bowl games is to fill hotel rooms and restaurant seats.

I agree, and after the first few weeks and 20% fans looking good and working (knock on wood); I am hoping things get opened up as the season progresses. Come on already, he jam 100s into the grocery store over and over. Seating fans in these expansive stadiums should be reasonable.
