Jerry Vale dies: 'Volare' singer and 'Sopranos' actor was 83

If you've ever been to Delmonico's Steak House you've heard Jerry's voice as you dine.

Vale was my mom's favorite singer. In fact she and her sister once had breakfast at the legendary all night eatery Poodle's and Jim's on Salina Street with him. Jerry had just entertained at Three Rivers Inn as my aunt had too.

Just the other day I played a few of his songs on youtube.

Wow OE, he was my moms favorite as well. I remember her ironing clothes, singing and playing Jerry Vale on the record player. Thank for posting this and a big thanks for the wonderful memory's Mr. Vale.

My mom had one of those cheap little record players but she went to heaven every time she heard his voice through that tinny speaker
