An NPR type audio interview from WAER

The first few times I saw Jesse play he was totally lost and I thought he was a recruiting miss. Ofcourse I know Big Guys sometimes need 2-3 years of pain to get 2-3 years of payback.

I'm starting to think comparisons to Leron Ellis are not hyperbole.

His brother had a great senior season at Northern Colorado. 9.4 ppg, 7.1 rbg in 22 mpg. Conference 6TH Man of the year. Wasn't Jesse stuck in the Netherlands for a lot of the summer. So can we say huge upside for Jesse once he gets more tutelage. Some guys have that natural ability and I think once Jesse develops some offensive confidence then the sky is the limit.

Nice article, seems Jesse has been catching up on his development after the tough offseason

The same article said Girard will return and as the "probable starter."

Can't say I loved reading that

Yeah. I mean if Joe is going to start then I would prefer we go with a 3 guard lineup where Kadary , Joe and Buddy start with Benny and Jesse. The 7 footer in the middle works with a smaller lineup around him. Playing a gambit, given Bras leaves, the first off the bench then is Woody for Joe and things rotate. Again with the defensive abilities of Kadary and Jesse factored with how good that lineup could be on offense you could make it work. Jesse is on the verge as a rebounder too and his reach helps him get his hands on the boards first which you can work with as a rebound by committee around him.

Again this all changes if say QG comes back too.
