Serious contender as early pick for MVP. Can't imagine he can keep this pace up and he will face serious competition from Josh Hamilton as well as the anti-Yankee bias when all is said and done, but he has been pretty amazing so far this season. And I was one of those who hated his new Contract and the way it was handled.
