Jim Brown Incredible Game Highlight

Not as incredible as it seems- it was one-platoon football in those days. Players played both ways with no specialists. But Paul Hornung won the 1956 Heisman based on his versatility and Big Jim was pretty versatile in his own right.

What an athlete. Brown rarely ran out of bounds and it was unusual for one guy to tackle him. Sam Huff could do it at times. I think Brown got better with age. Thanks for the video.

I think the film is running in slower speed, but I agree with you the game has definitely changed and gotten faster in the last 70 years.

Funniest part is every block the OL throws is a cut block at the defenders’ knees.
