It just dawned on me today as I walked out of the dome. Late last year the head coach was doing some quick math. I think he thought 18-20 wins was in the bag per usual. Wouldn't it be pretty cool to get 1000 a 2nd time with two sons on the team?!?! He grossly overestimated the ability of this team and waxing a bunch of walk ons during the preseason workouts didn't help the perception. When they started to actually play against scholarship players from other teams welp you know how the rest goes...
