You have Dion & Scoop taking offbalance 17 footers every other possession, then they switch over to quick 3's with no rebounders prepared to grab the ball on a miss.

I agree, they are not the best shooting team, but the guards have an advantage over their opponents, & they can use it to get into the lanefor some easier shots & a foul shooting. The front men have to clear the lanes for this to happen more often, & this is all mental stuff...

The only thing that I will hold on to here is that when Melo was ineligible earlier in the year we played a very out of sync game against Notre Dame then followed that up with a great game against Cinci. K State reminds me a lot of Cinci. I think history repeats itself tomorrow with the players becoming more comfortable in their roles and SU wins going away.

SU hasn't won a game going away since Providence in mid-January

unless Kris, Scoop and CJ start playing up to their abilities and someone can light a fire under Dion's lazy @ss this team once again is not going past the sweet sixteen (and possibly even the round of 32)

I agree it seems like forever. Although it was tight for most of the game the Feb 11 game against UConn where we outscored then 22-6 over the last 6+ mins is the last I remember.

Well they were actually winning going away against Louisville on Senior Day, but Louisville went on a little run at the end to make the score look closer than it was. But yeah, they haven't looked all that great except for stretches here and there. I'm sticking with my ND followed by Cinci anlalogy though.
