Over the 7 footer was perhaps the biggest shot of the season. That game seemed to be sliding down a bad slope. With our history of losing close games, our obvious limitations and frustration.....Fucillo huge shot by JG3.

He's an onions kid, sometimes he tries to play hero a little too much but this year he's dialed that back and has been great most of the year. We really needed that last night, that was a gutsy shot.

Yep. That was a monster shot. Kid didn’t have a great total game, but he brought us home.

That matters.

Joe was hot. He had a mismatch. As usual, the other 4 guys were standing still.

Joe has done a much better job pulling himself up by the bootstraps in the second half of games this year if he struggles in the first half. Last night was a perfect example and maybe one of his best games turning around a bad half.

And as for shot selection I think that Galloway kid handed everyone of our guys, the coaching staff and the fans at Conte his beer last night.

Was one of the better shots you will see, very difficult shot at a time where it was desperately needed

You can tell gmac has worked with him. His crossover stepback has tightened up to almost barely a step back and the release is faster. It's something Gmac was lethal with.

Additionally, Joe is reading the defender better. Get six inches to the left of the defender and even at full stretch your shot is not getting blocked. A lot of technical improvements in his game that have to do with his play.

Dare I say he’s in a lot better shape than he ever was last season.

Pretty good second half. His free throws were melted butter. Nice to have that guy(s). Three guys in the top 63 in the country shooting over 88%. I would be shocked if one team has ever had that stat.

I wonder how devastating JG3 would be off the ball shooting 3s…
Who are you taking off the floor? If it’s buddy you are doing it to get him rest, not to make the offense better. One of the forwards? What are giving up elsewhere?

Something I recall about Andy Rautins is he used to answer with similar clutch shots after our opponent would hit a big 3 and you could feel the momentum start to swing.

Some of the best footwork in getting his shot set of any player we have ever had. Would love it if Buddy had Andy's footwork.

Buddy Brick-Its was ICE COLD the entire 2nd half.

He coulda easily sat 6-8 minutes to get Symir in there, and then Joe goes to the 2.

Our ballhandling improves, Buddy takes zero bad shots because he's on the bench, and Joe & Cole do their things.

Big shot… Joe’s been better about getting square when he launches. He’s improved this season.

If he draws the defender that Buddy gets, he won't have much success. And the pick and roll won't work because the defenders are going to back off and challenge Symir to shoot the 3, which is not a strength of his.

Joe can drive and dish. Buddy can’t.

Wouldn't you love to have the internal confidence to take that shot, even though you are far from having a perfect game and have a 7-footer in front of you and a shrinking lead in the final minutes?
