Wouldn't you love to have the internal confidence to take that shot, even though you are far from having a perfect game and have a 7-footer in front of you and a shrinking lead in the final minutes?
Oh I’d have the confidence to take it… it’s a matter of making it that’s the problem lol.

You know it's funny. Being a short dude and obviously that means you have one position in hoops, I always found the corners easier to get a shot off and can it vs a big guy vs the top. Generally given both of you have less space to work with I figure is the reason as I don't recall what I was thinking but just an oddity.
 
Something I recall about Andy Rautins is he used to answer with similar clutch shots after our opponent would hit a big 3 and you could feel the momentum start to swing.
I used to call Andy "The Silencer." The other team would make a big basket or go on a run and Andy would stop it with a big 3.
