After reading that John Raymon article that was linked in the Saturday articles thread, I have to say that my heart goes out to that kid. I thought I had a tough childhood and being raised in a strict household, but this kid suffered incredible abuse. Thank goodness for his adopted parents whose caring went beyond racial boundaries. There are still good, loving and caring people around. I agree that his life makes the movie, The Blindside, look like a cakewalk. We have absolutely no idea what some of these kids have had to endure. Pulling hard for this kid to succeed. Then he will have truly overcome the odds.
