Of the many poster-worthy dunks in his career, Jordan singled out his slam on Patrick Ewing in the 1991 playoffs as one of his favorites. Jordan did a quick spin away from Charles Oakley on the baseline, soared to the hoop and put down a one-hand slam in the face of Ewing's challenge.

Jordan said he thinks about that one "very, very often."

"I told him, Georgetown guys don't block shots, they take charges," Jordan said on the video. "I dunked it on him so hard it was unbelievable. Every time I see him, that's the first thing I remind him of."

Knick fan here. But just like Larry Legend, I hated MJ but loved his game. Still to me is the most competitive athlete of my generation.
But I have a better dunk for you:

I mostly remember a dunk when he hung in the air and changed hands before slamming it in--don't remember the opponent or the date.

That was a great dunk and a great moment, but it "being on Jordan" has always been a stretch. It wasn't really "on" anyone, and the closest to being dunked on was Horace Grant. Jordan came in late and jumped, but he didn't get dunked on.

Horace Grant was dunked on. Serious question, did you watch the vid above? Just curious, cause Grant was dunked on and all over.
John Starks. All heart.

Yes, and I've seen it a million times and remember watching it live. I consider dunked "on" going right through their chest or over the top. He kind've went to the side of Grant. Great play and dunk, no question.

Yeah, Horace got dunked on for sure and Jordan got a little dunked on, would have been worse if Horace wasn't blocking his way from getting dunked on even more.
