Now that Tennessee’s season is over, I guess we will find out soon if JP is entering the portal. I really like his game but very concerned about his injury. I can’t find anything in depth about the injury other than it was the left foot. Does anyone know the specifics?

Fullyyyyyy expect us to be right in the thick of things with this one. Gmac and him have a really good relationship. And for awhile he was leaning Cuse during his high school recruitment. Only thing that really concerns me is his injury history. Also Gmac might want to be a little more athletic than this. But Estrella is fundamentally sound and solid. Which gmac likes. I know we are gonna go hard after Wilkinson from Georgia but so are a lot of big time teams. He’s gonna be expensive. Estrella at C and Wilkinson at PG. With Kingz at the 2 and Morano at the 3. We can start dreaming right? Lol. That’s a lot of fire power already. With hopefully Sadiq coming back to start at the 4. With Doty, Anthony and Folefac off the bench…..

Vol Nation says the rumors are IU offered him 3-4 million. That seems crazy but we are talking about IU.
Centers are expensive but idk if he will be that much. 1.5 million. Depends on team needs and what other centers enter the portal. But I’d say 1.5-2 mil at the MOST. I think we can overpay a little bit for our starting PG and Center.
If that’s true they can have him. He’d be nice to have but he’s not worth that much. This where g-macs strong relationship with him might come in too. Would he be willing to take a little discount to come play for G-Mac and play close to home? That’s a strong card we could play

Not to mention GMac is here and going nowhere. IU is truly a revolving door of coaches for hoops and didn’t do themselves any favors last year bucking that point. I feel like getting settled on who stays if anyone as well as getting another commit could help too…
Yeah he’s going to be expensive around 3-4 million is correct. Big market is weak and he’s one of the better guys available
