From today's local Missoula, MT paper:

"The Orange own regular-season wins over the likes of Louisville, Cincinnati, Notre Dame and Pitt, among others, and avenged a 61-39 debacle at Georgetown with a win over the Hoyas in the Big East tournament. They are coached by Hall of Famer Jim Boeheim, who owns a career record of 855-302, which ranks him second in wins among active Division I coaches."

I e-mailed the guy about it. His response:

Got it off Syracuse website.

Good morning,

You may want to double-check Jim Boeheim's career win-loss record.

Wow. I typed JBs name into Wikipedia and it came up immediately with his record.
