Class of 2017 JUCO TE Ravian Pierce (MS) COMMITTED & SIGNED TO SYRACUSE

Just watched his highlights. He's everything everyone wants Jamal Custis to be.
Yup and if people are right in saying how much he has improved while Babers has been here imagine our redzone offense...Dungey, Ish, Custit, Pierce and if Gus decides to come here...this potientially could be the best Cuse team we have had in a long, long time

Don't forget the young Devin Butler. He's a legit 6'3" and will be getting more run than Custis.

Wait which Devin Butler is this again? ;). Seriously, Butler is a kid the staff is really excited about.

So we got Erv in the slot, Ish at WR1, Butler as the 3rd option and this beast hopefully roaming the middle for 8-20 yard gainers?

sales pitch - catch 120 balls in two seasons or be lucky to catch 30 playing in a pro-style offense.

He's also a 3-2 kid I believe.

Cool beans. Nice way to finish off the week. I'm going to go drink now... happy hour has arrived. :)

We get 2 years of eligibility out of him, correct?

The Orange beat out several SEC powers to sign Ravian Pierce.

Junior College tight end Ravian Pierce (Summit, Miss./Southwest Mississippi State) just signed with Syracuse.

Pierce chose the Orange over SEC programs Mississippi State, LSU and Florida.

Syracuse also beat out Oklahoma State and eight additional offers for the coveted tight end.

Pierce, a three-star recruit, is ranked as the nation’s No. 3 Junior College tight end by 247SportsComposite.

Pierce (Plantation, Fla.) signed with Mississippi State out of his school.

He’s the fourth south Florida native commit this cycle for the Orange, a group that also includes linebacker Nadarius Fagan (Miami/Southridge), wide receiver Sharod Johnson (Miami/Booker T. Washington) and wide receiver Joshua Palmer (Fort Lauderdale, Fla./St. Thomas Aquinas).

Orange secondary coach Nick Monroe recruited Pierce for Syracuse.

Pierce (6-4, 225) has two years of eligibility remaining and will enroll at Syracuse in January.

He’s the 22nd verbal commit in the 2017 class for Syracuse.
