I think you will really like coach Shafer then. He is a great guy. If you get a chance you can google some of his stories or if you go thru the thread they made for our son Shy they have links to some great stories about kids he has brought in and helped and some stories about him living in some tough places to get to know what others have it like. We spent along time talking with him and all coaches during our visit when shy committed. All great guysWherever he chooses, they will be lucky to have him. He is a great kid, avoids trouble, knows the importance of education, everywhere he has been, his teammates have loved him. He's humble, a team player, and a motivator. I am so happy he is getting this recognition that many kids take for granted. He does not take any of this for granted. Beyond football, as a mom, I am most proud of his character and his love for God.
