Switch Bell for Westry…..and then if you look at the second 5, that’s what some thought our starting lineup might be next year not too long ago. Lol.

I have a hard time imagining Westry outside of the starting 5. But, no matter how you slice it, we have 13 players, something we haven't always had, which is m'fing nuts to begin with. Also, we are loaded with athletes with a legit two deep, allowing us to play hard on defense and run on offense because we can substitute to give guys a blow and not lose much, if anything. We can compete against the best teams and use our talent against the less talented teams.

there is a lot to hate about the constant turnover and lack of contracts keeping people around for more than a year but this is a very underrated point that most people ignore

Say what u want about NIL, but CBB gonna have a lot of better teams than last year. Way more competitive

Just a few years ago people were complaining about the one-and-dones, the lack of quality players. Now, NIL is keeping many of those who would have left in the game. Talent is getting better across the board.

It’s the wild west, what used to feel illegal is now totally legal. We need to acquire talent to compete and that’s what we’ve done this offseason.

I’m so happy Red has some talent to give him a chance to be successful.

Westry to me is our next best PG to Judah. Had to separate the two in my fantasy armchair coach world haha

Gotcha, how fun is it to be able to even put together a legit two teams that can practice against eachother? We need summer reports ASAP. These guys are going to make eachother better. That is what a team is about. There are guys that won't get many minutes that will absolutely contribute to any success this team has. And, they will play more the next year and be better for having practiced with the team the year before. It still really pisses me off to think that there were years that we didn't fill out the roster.

I think Benny is going to thrive under Red. He is going to play with a freedom that he hasn't had since coming to Syracuse. The kid is really good.

I think we have enough forwards that are serviceable behind him. If we are playing a 3 guard lineup we can easily shuffle someone in that can be productive. The center position is full of question marks and I don't think any of our forwards can slide down and manage that position.

As great as that would be haha we do have to take the orange colored glasses off. Yes we are going to be STACKED compared to the last 5 or so years. Legitimately might be our best team since 2013 with Ennis?

But looking around the college landscape there are going to be some really, really good teams next year. Duke, Kansas, Michigan State, USC, UConn, Purdue, Georgetown and Arizona are all LOADED next year. So I don’t think we are quite that tier to start the season. But if our second year guys like Taylor, Bell, Copeland, and Brown take the next step. And Judah, Starling, Westry are studs like we think they will be. Then add in solid starters that know their role like Benny, and McLeod. This team has potential to be that tier. But that’s all that is right now, need all our guys to really put in the work this off season with all the new faces and we could be in that tier. I think we are in the Tier right below those teams I just mentioned to start the season

But it is where you are to end the season. Keep getting better and the sky is the limit.
