Here are the actual high temperatures in Syracuse for each day in 2014-2021 compared to the average high, (based on stats that go back to 1901) and the difference that day, + or – as well as a running deficit or surfeit. Here is the website I used for these numbers:
Accuweather now gives the actual highs but not the historical averages for each date:
https://www.accuweather.com/en/us/syracuse/13202/july-weather/329675?year=2021
I used this for the historical averages:
Weather averages Syracuse, New York
The numbers are the date, the actual high, the historical average high, the net difference, the cumulative net since January 1st, the numbers of days we exceeded the historical average, the number of days we didn't reach it and the number of days we tied it.

Comments: overall, July was as moderate as month can be: 16-15 in days, -8 in temperature. But we hit 90 twice and were double figures under the average on 7/29-30. When it wasn’t hotter than the average, the temperature at night went down enough to make for some clammy mornings and we got an awful lot of rain, so July wasn’t as much fun as it usually is. But it’s still the month in which winter is the best combination of a distant memory and a remote possibility.
