Not sure I've ever seen an arena so charged as that moment.
The whole night really built up to that. We had obviously had our share of fans before but that was the first takeover of a gym that I could remember. Rutgers fans, who've always prided themselves on the RAC being a true homecourt advantage, were so shocked that we brought so many fans and there was an arrogance from our fan base that was just palpable and drove them insane. They wanted to shut us up so badly, to send us home with a loss. And then the dunk happened on Rosario of all people, who they considered the messiah at the time. You kind of get it in that clip but the entire place was standing for several minutes after the dunk, our fans cheering, theirs just shell shocked.
The next day their board was filled with posts like "I woulda punched that Cuse fan behind me but..." and then the sentence would end up talking about how their wife was there, or they were too old, and other excuses that mask the fact that they had no balls. Anyway, it was just a really, really fun game to be at. Near the top of my list.
