But the FG miss was set up by the sack. I know Devito is hurt, but even before that his awareness has been called into question.

it was a 40 yd fg.. make it and we kick the 2nd one and its a tie game on the last drive.. the but the kick OB hurt even more thats 10 yds and we are around the 30 and kicking to win the game

The missed fg was terrible, though assuming we get the other fg instead of going for it on 4th, and after the TD it would have been tied. NC State would have had the ball to drive the field and only needed a fg to win.

He was a 4* Elite 11 QB who received plenty of interest from bigger schools after committing to us early. He’s a sophomore who has started 6 games in college with a bad OL. You can’t teach arm talent but the other stuff that was lacking last night can be fixed with time. There are plenty of QBs like Tommy at the factories.

He was not good last night (amazingly he was 29-39 for 300 yards) but he will be the next 2 years.
