Everyone knows Joe, the salesman slinging programs at SU games that wears the Philly Mcnabb Jersey alot. Also sells programs etc at the Syracuse Mets -chiefs- for 40 years.

Im just curious, because I recently heard how many programs he claims to have sold in the 40 years and stressed to us not to bother doing the math bc he just knows. So how many programs do you think he has sold? Lets just say average of 30 Cuse games a year for all 3 bball, fball and lacrosse. Another say 80 baseball games/yr.
So thats 110 add another 40 for miscellaneous high school sports and whatever in dome...I think that is generous.
Maybe I am wrong.
150 events a year for 40 yrs...On average how many programs you think per event? That will give us a guess at a number...

If I am off in # of events just show your work like on a Math regents. Damn im old&weird!

Im just different and curious when it comes to stuff like this...play along or dont.

first off, they (SU) don't sell them anymore and havent for awhile...

Your estimate of 150 events for 40 years seems reasonable, and to reach a million that's an average of 166 programs per event. I going to say Joe made it to 1M. Those early games in the Dome used to sell a lot of programs.

I am biased, as Joe was my CYO basketball coach around 1980 for a few years... believe it or not.
