I brought up Doc Holliday and Lincoln Riley on the post game radio show as hypothetically available and capable coaches and basically was told "how would they come in wave a magic wand and fix the injury situation?"

I know Chris and Steve have to toe the company line but we're not really talking about this season at this point. We're looking at the long term and if Syracuse is interested in being a legitimate football team in the ACC because 3rd lowest paid coaching staff of all P5 schools is not going to get it done now or long term.

They are saying it doesn't matter who you have right now with our injuries AND it's hard to evaluate Lester for a thousand reasons. I'd say he's trending down - but deserves more time.

Why say Lester is your OC for next year already when he has not shown anything, injuries or not. At least test the market at the end of the year and fall back on him as plan b if nothing else materializes. Where the @ck was he gonna go? Back to Elmhurst?
