if this was happening to rutgirls this year, you all would be laughing up a storm and praying that they kept there coaches. Because it's syracuse, people will spin things to make it seem less of an issue and put the blame on other issues and assume it will get better. Just saying, take the Orange colored glasses off and really look at this year from an outside perspective. Besides FSU (which doesn't look all that unbeatable this year, several very close games) which game should have completely been written off going into the game and then look at the outcomes.

:noidea:I think the Orange-colored glasses have been taken off, stomped on, and trashed. Or haven't you been reading any of the other threads on this board this afternoon?

a Rutgers post in the middle of this sh!tshow. kudos to you, sir.

I'd take getting sh@t on by OSU, Nebraska, Wisconsin, and MSU for a bowl game right about now. If Rutgers beats Maryland next week then they will finish 7-5 and one of their losses was by a field goal to PSU.

We have MAC assistant coaches and are getting trashed in a P5 conference accordingly. I've been saying that for a long while, but certain posters on here are too blinded to see the light.

I haven't given up on HCSS, but I've pretty much given up on everyone else. We need high quality assistants to field competitive teams ( and establish stability), and we need to open up the bank to get them to come here.

If we're committed to football, we need to show it sooner than later. Righting the ship is only going to get harder/more expensive as time goes on.

The fact that the coaches are from the MAC isn't the problem.
Plenty of teams from the MAC have been ranked over the past 10 years.
It's these coaches on offense specifically. They don't know how to run a successful offense.

there are plenty of posters on this forum who maintain that the team has had a few close losses that could have gone either way and that Syracuse would have 7 or 8 wins if Hunt was playing.

The orange goggles are still intact and strong for a decent chunk of this board.

Villanova foreshadowed what we have seen this fall.

The first drive of the year made eveything clear.

Yuck!

The offensive line from that game on has been pitiful, when you couldn't score 1st and goal against an FCS team your line is bad.

The best thing ever is ripping the scheduling of Rutgers and then complaining that we need to schedule easier teams.

It's the definition of irony and I love it.

Not sure it's "ripping", I think it's more about pointing out that they actually suck as some people don't pay attention and get fooled by their respectable records. They've gotten hammered by every good team they've played, but they gave themselves 4 easy ones, and only had to beat 2 mediocre-bad league teams to get a bowl.

As bad as we are, if we had gifted ourselves 4 OOC wins, we'd be playing for a bowl game next week. I'm all in favor of scheduling that way at this point.

Did you break any bones jumping off the band wagon?

This staff is light years better than your buddies staff and is performing with 1/3 the talent.

hunt stayed healthy this year we would be 5-6 probably(winning vs nc state and either in death valley or at home vs duke)

Sorry?

I expressed concern on the day following Villanova.

And what buddies?

Pasqualoni? DeLeone? Robinson? Marrone? I have known and liked and supported all of them. And that includes Scott Shafer.

Talent???

This team appeared to me in August to have more talent than we have seen in years.

I saw problems from Day One of the season.

And I have been honest about those feelings while remaining loyal all along.

So don't be upset with me.
