other than the to be expected audio issues (this time Marrone's mike was turned down too much)what the heck is up with Marrone?

He looks and sounds like he's in in an anti-depressant ad.

Injury news, Anderson, Jones, Fisher are being evaluated.

Mungwa was hurt. As noted elsewhere Eskridge is in NCAA limbo. He can attend school and practice but isn't eligible for games at the moment. Couldn't tell if he would be at some point.

At this point more than half the secondary have significant injuries or can't play. Yikes

He did seem a little down/bad mood. This could be due to trying to keep a sense of perspective b/c he wants to keep the atmosphere "bleak" so as not to look over Rhode Island.

But more so I think it's a product of success; up until now, every win was followed by a sense of euphoria that carried over. We never really expected to win (well maybe he did), or be in every game...with those new expectations comes a great deal more pressure.

Once the novelty wears off of "beating an ACC team for the first time in 80 years", "having a winning record at home" or "winning the season opener two years in a row", what's left? The stark reality that I'm expected to win all the time...hey he's only human and he's a football coach...that attitude sometimes just comes with the territory.

As was pointed out on the board however, we are beyond lucky to have a Coach with the attitude and understanding of HCDM...just look at how he dealt with Raupers compared to that blowhard Brian Kelly and his disgraceful display the other night.
